I just made the BEST Christmas cookies ever. They're fantastic! Grammie would be proud, she won't be tasting the delights though as I don't think they're going to make it out of the house. Though I might be tempted to save one or two for my so very cute boss you, Jenna!
Anyway! I had a great Christmas! despite the lack of presents. I'm not sure what is going on with that, it's like this stupid "you must work" thing has SPREAD and suddenly it's just a "you have no money" thing. I'm not sure what is going on and I don't think I like this.
What is everyone doing for New Year? I'm so excited! I love New Year. Jenna can we go in Times Square and watch the...ball thing drop? PLEASE? Who else is going to Times Square? What is everyone doing?
My current New Years resolutions are as follows:
1) Lose the weight I gained when coming to NY. Maybe I should start going to the gym again. It's not my fault that everything tastes so good here!
2) Find a boy who isn't married or taken. Even if all the goods ones are married or taken.
2) Finish school.
3) Save up for Get that beautiful dress I saw the other day.
Ok, that's all I've got. Seriously.
I'm thinking about dying my hair though. What do you think?

Despite having thanks giving off I decided not to go home for it and I still had a great day! And OMG shopping yesterday was fantastic. I got so much stuff in the sales! Even though everyone was kind of... wild. Seriously. And it was really great because I got loads of new stuff really cheap. This working thing really sucks. Budgets suck!
OH! The Macy's parade was AMAZING! I loved it!! There should be a parade every week or something! I would go every time, it's just so much fun! with all the kids and everyone getting really into it though I did get very squished at times. Totally worth it though.
Because I didn't get to go home to Chicago I had to make the traditional thanksgiving pie without my grammie, it turned out ok though! Not quite as good as hers but that just means I get to make it again, right? I have some left over if anyone wants any!

I love New York! I know I said this in my last entry but it is amazing. It's getting cold though! Which means I get to go new coat shopping even if I can't afford the coat I want. This is really getting stupid! And unfair! though I got some new gloves and matching scarf. Really cute! They'reaubergine and have flowers for the buttons were the mittens flip back. So cute.
In other news this whole "freshmen 10" is really true. Especially if you work in the best restaurant in New York and are surrounded by great (or at least passable) food all day. Not that I'm complaining! I love it. School is... way more fun than I thought it was going to be. It's a lot of hard work but I'm glad I applied.

I love New York! I don't love unpacking though. It's funny how much stuff you can pack in so few boxes and it's so neat when you put it in but something must happen on the ride over because suddenly everything is switched around and you're sure which box you put something in but no! it's actually in a completely different one. The majority of it's done now at least.
Sky, do you want to go and grab some lunch? I'm tired of putting things away.
I start work next week. I'm officially very excited. I'm starting at a yummy, yummy and amazing restaurant called Montague's. My brother hooked me up with the owner. School is in the mornings and then to Montague's afternoon/evenings. Because my stupid parents thought it'd be a good idea that I actually work, something to do with life lessons. Thank god grammie sorted out this apartment, I don't want to know where I'd be living otherwise. Thank you for giving me a job, Jeremy!
